Dear Sir
 I came here, to america from the other side of the world New Zealand, where I have lesson teaching both native and white children for years, to teach the Freemans children on going to the Freedmans Union Commission Office I found they could not send me out with any salary but they had a [[?]] who would be happy to give a teacher board and lodging if she felt willing to come to her and try if the people would be able to get a piece of land and put up a school house and try to pay her same salary
