Respectfully returned to Capt + Bvt. Lieut. Sol. S.P. Lee S..C. Comr 10" Sub Dis Va, with the information that there are from thirty to thirty five children in the vicinity of Piedmont who would attend school. Mr Blackmore will give a piece of land for a school lot- one half acre. They are not able to build a house themselves I would recommend an appropriation of one hundred dollars $100.00 to enable them to erect a building
