I have to apologize for the mistake in the letter forwarded to you, it was misdirected, your kind letter I received and answered, trusting you would pardon my bothering you again for the sake of the work I am engaged in.

I fear I had not made my communication plain to you we do not expect a large School house built for us here but if a Old building could be sent or lumber to put up the Freedmen will gladly give their time to put it up and provide the ground to put it on. if it is not really possible I must avail myself
