Its average in number since its organization is about 32; a large proportion of whom were at the date of its organization either ignorant of the alphabet or spelled only short words.
The ages range from 10 to 45; I do not know the number of each age. 
One class is quite proficient in the common branches of an English education, and several who in Mathematics are nearly prepared to commence the higher branches such as Algebra, Geometry etc
Six scholars have graduated from this school and taken Diplomas as teachers; two of which are now engages in teaching at Charlottesville, and one [[strikethrough]] one [[/strikethrough]] on a plantation in Nelson.
