good accommodations for pupils from abroad who should be educated in all that pertains to right living, be required to labor on the farm in order to attain physical development, be enabled to, in a measure, pay their way, and thus amending the consciousness of being objects of charity, and regain a knowledge of ag husbandry as conducted by experienced farmers in the North. Instruction to be the best than can be secured.

These ends have been steadily kept in line and the means of attaining them have been by government appropriation and private contributions so far liberally furnished.
