Periodical charities are mercy drops, but the great shower of humanity must come in the form of Land or homesteads where the riseing generation may learn, the Divine Command that by the sweat of their brow in tiling the ground Independance is theirs.
I have fearful apprehensions when I see the vast multitudes of Children that are fast comeing to adult age. and if instruction does not more generly reach the outside districts, where countless numbers are obliged to live who have not yet learned the first letter of the alphabet, of them, their [[strikethrough]] it [[/strikethrough]] future is truly sad.
