Dear Sir:

Your communication of the 15th ultima was duly received. I thank you for it, especially for the [[?]] that you are not favorable to the consolidation of Church and School. I had bee led to believe that you would disapprove an application that did not combine both interests.

A few weeks since the barrack, which we occupy for school and quarters, was found to be in an extremely dangerous condition, and is now only temporarily [[?]].
