Dear Sir,

Your answer to Mrs. Cheney's letter, respecting a place for me among the Freedmen, is before me, and I take the liberty to write you myself, and to make some inquiries regarding "Front Royal". Your remark, "If that section of country visits, I think the other conditions can be met there."
Would it give you too much trouble to write me, whether Front Royal is a healthy place, which is the most importation consideration and the probable member of inhabitants the number of
