pupils that can be gathered into school the distance from Washington and how long it takes to go there from Boston? 
I have had and still have an irrepressible desire to do something  [[strikethrough]] to do something [[/strikethrough]] toward raising the Freedmen from the ignorance of Slavery to the intelligence of Freedom and am very happy to be accepted by your Society as a Teacher.
