Dear Sir,
The Com. on Teachers would like your opinion as to the
propriety and expediency of establishing a Normal School at Charlottesville where Miss Gardner [[strikethrough]] also [[/strikethrough]] already has a nucleus - Would Charlottesville be a good location for such a school? Could proper trustees be secured and is the surrounding population sufficient to furnish a school of good size?
The plan is wholly prospective; but as Miss Gardner is so good a teacher, and has already
