Without committing our authority we think it wise to give you this information confidentially.

We have done nothing yet toward a Normal School except to send letters of inquiry to Charlottesville similar to the one sent you.

We shall carry on our present work at Charlottesville another year and hope to have all our privileges continued by the Bureau —
