There is no "bogus" about this matter we are a wholesouled set of fellows. Veritable men who mean to do what we say but if we must get along without the colored people of some sections we shall not think hard, we have deliberated much on the project, and while we do not quite court oposition and slander we expect and meet it cheerfully. it is not the first good cause that was offered and called foolish. we have seen fully enough of this doing only what seems expedient. we have the approval of scores of the best colored & white men in the country. and by "devine guidance" we shall try to do our duty without being troubled about what a few foolish colored, conservative whites or Copperheads say about us.
