Bowling Green Caroline Co, Ga. July 10, 1868 Chap. R. M. Manly State Supt. Education Sir My Husband - Mr Tukey - informs me that you have notified him that if I desired to teach the coming seasons it is necessary that I should make my application to you. There is an urgent necessity for a school at this place. And as we are located here, and keeping house, it is but natural to suppose that I can conduct the school as economically as one who is not located here, snd shall be glad to receive the appointment I taught here during the latter
