Rev. R. M. Manly,
Dear Sir,
We have received yours of the 21st. We currently hope the Bureau will be able to put up a school building for us at Charlottesville. We wish we had some funds to devote to this purpose, but we have none, & have always supposed we could depend upon the Bureau to do such a thing as this for us.
The Com. have voted to send Miss Camedy to the Normal School at Richmond again, provided she has an assistant who will prove satisfactory to her. Will you have the kindness to see that this is the case?
Very truly yrs.
