displeasure of the officers of the law in that locality - see that offenders are duly punished but protect all against injustice - Encourage industry. Let there be no idle about the towns. Inculcate honest earnest labor Encourage and aid the schools. Do all things that will promote the well being of the Freedmen and they and all others will be benefitted by your well directed services.
