Referring to your endorsement of the 9th ult. on communication from the Asst  Commr. of Georgia, requesting transportation for the parents of Augustus Gonicky - from Chattanooga, Tenn. to Thomasville Ga. I am directed by the Assistant Commissioner, Bvt. Major Genl. W.P. Carlin U.S.A. to enclose herewith transportation orders, No. 2976, and 2977, for Wm. Smith and Wife from Chattanooga Tenn. to Bainbridge Ga.

Carlin U.S.A. directs that hereafter in making your return of rations issued to Refugees and Freedmen in Hospital at Nashville, Tenn, you will carry out the figures of the exact number in Hospital on the last day of the month, in the body of the report. and give the loss and gain in their proper columns.

This will show at a glance the exact condition of the Hospital under your charge -
