James Thompson U.S.A. to acknowledge the receipt of your communication of the 1st inst., requesting authority to purchase three chairs, one water bucket, one cup, one coal shovel, one broom and one hatchet, and in reply, to inform you that the request is granted. You are authorized to purchase at reasonable rates (especially the chairs) the articles named above. You will please send sub vouchers for the same to this office,

Commr. to inform you that your application is granted, and you are directed to rent a building at a monthly rent not to be exceed ten dollars ($10.00) for the use specified.
