Commissioner &c. Washington D.C. General: A. "Colored woman named Sally Baker," has arrived here enroute for Talledega, [[Talladega]] Alabama. She was defrauded of all her money by a Colored man on the Louisville, and Nashville, Rail Road, according to her statement and is now entirely destitute and unable to go as further, Therefore, I respectfully recommend that transportation be issued to her from Nashville to Talledega, Alabama, I am, General.
