General:
I have just succeeded in getting a share copy of our report which I enclose[[inclose]]. It is the same as adopted by the council in June last. & is now the law of the city. Several prominent educationalists have called it one of the most concise and admirable systems which could be enaugerated in any place. I think it will work admirably for this city - as at present situated. 

I had a meeting of our Board yesterday and laid your proposition before it. The Board agrees to it. We will want about 10 teachers for the colored schools, and you can commence your arrangements for a supply as soon as you please.
