Dear Sir,
Mr Fiske having resigned his position it becomes my duty to answer your letter of the 3rd. Just in reference to the distribution of the amount appropriated through Dr Sears, Agt. of the Peabody Fund. I have matured no plan. In looking over your letter I can see no objection to the one you propose. It appears to me a just method of distribution, and I think now I shall adopt it for this State, unless from further reflection I may find cause for changing it, in which case I will advise with you at once. 

If any thing should occur to make a change of the plan communicated in yours, please write me.
