I wrote you about pay for John Carter. I hope you will assume that debt & pay him for I cant do it out of my own funds without embarassment. I shall tax the people for each scholar as much as they can afford.

By October 1st shall want a teacher for West Point Church school & by October 5th 2 teachers or more for "Cat Tail" school,
