see her, but Mr Shaw Understood her that she wished & expected to resume her old place. I believe she lives at Newburgh, in Orange Co. this state. I don't know that we can support the colored teachers at all; I think it will be best not to take any step about them till we have secured the seven white teachers. I am glad Miss Renne & Mrs Parker are to return, they have not informed us of any arrangements for the purpose, I wish they had. As far as we know Miss Lynch will return too.
