Our Society cannot commit itself pecuniarily toward the removing of the lumber, or the erection of a school house; but would be glad to use its influence in this direction if you see any channel for it .

We make these inquiries because you express regret in your letter to Miss G. that the "building cannot go on at once;" while the Bureau continues to act.
