Bureau R. F. and A. Lands
Hd Qrs. 6th Sub. Dist. of Va.
Fredericksburg Va Oct 20th 1868.

Respectfully transmitted. If an appropriation for the erection of a new School building will be allowed, I recommend that Three Hundred ($300.00) be appropriated provided no more can be spared for this Division.

There is no building at Bowling Green suitable for school purposes that can be rented. The owner of the building lately rented by the Bureau for a Freed School refuses to again rent it for that purpose.
