Dear Sir.
Yours of 28th received.  I was very much disappointed about the disapproval of appropriation for King William Court House.  If I can get some society to support a teacher or some individual  - can I then get the appropriation? - I can get the books and have sent for them but thought you might have some for distributing and those that I asked for were needed for immediate use.  Miss Scott receives a high weekly tax from her night school scholars and as soon as the day school is under a good head of steam I propose to ask 10 cts per month perhaps 15 cts from each day scholar.  Miss Preston's school commences Monday the 2nd.  I am mortified at the delay but various causes
