Yours of the 27th inst[[??]], is at hand and contents considered. Permit me to say that I also wish, the case acted upon purely upon its merits, and did not mean to be understood as asking the appropriation, simply upon the ground, that none had ever been made, but considered fully the necessity of such an appropriation, and in connection with that, gave as an additional reason, that no appropriation had ever been made for this county. Since the receipt of yours I have, however, found a building for sale which has been unexpectedly thrown into the market, and which can be bought at a much lower figure than what it would cost to buy the ground and erect a new building, provided the ground can be found, within suitable distance which is utterly impossible, but the amount stated in your letter $150 - which you say the Bureau will appropriate, is so small that it will not enable the people with what little they can raise, to purchase even that, and
