Re R M Manly
Supt Education

Dear Sir,
I enclose herewith proposition from Messrs Darrow and Connor, builders at Charlottesville relative to erecting a building at the above named place, and plan and specification.

I had an interview with Mr Cabel's Agt while there and learned that one and 1/6 of an acer can be purchased where the building stands for $1000. I think less. He is to communicate with Mr C. and will let me know at once, at the same time relinquishing all claim to the building which he proposes to contend for.

As this building will stand for 2 or 3 years, I am of the opinion that this will be better than to undertake to build a new one (i.e.) providing the 1000. can be used in this way.

Respectfully yours
W R Morse, A.S.C.
