purchase and erection has been furnished by the Baptist citizens except the Bureau which furnished the greater part.
Scott says that he has secured the title to the M.E. Church by reusing by subscription 40 dollars in addition to the Bureau appropriation and admits that a large part of this 40 dollars was paid by Baptists but with the understanding that it was for the M.E.C. The above facts together with his manner towards those of another church are the grievances of the complaints. The Bureau holds a lease of the land for three years from Feb 1867. The right to control under this lease Scott denies on the ground of agreement with the agent. I claim that the building is a School House for the public which Scott denies but he is willing to give way and let a teacher have the house week days for a school. In his last conversation he was rather anxious that a teacher should be sent but would not acknowledge the right of any other parties to the house. I have stated the facts as
