The weather kept me indoors during my stay in the city, I fully intended to see you, as I wished some instruction toward starting a Temperance Society here, I received a letter from Miss Collins some time since, and yesterday one from Mrs C. R. Lowell, they both seem anxious to have a Temperance Society at this place, if you will give me the necessary information I will endeavor to start one.
