Dear Sir,
Your letters to Mrs. Lowell & myself were safely received. In return I enclose a check for $107.25, from which please pay the four teachers the sums named as due to Feby 1st and retain for Mrs. Manly $30. being the amount we have as yet rec'd for her for Oct'r Nov'r & Dec'r. We are expecting to receive the Bureau allowance for the rest of the term and shall then be glad to send to her each month, as we get the [[strikethrough]] money [[/strikethrough]] allowance.
