One point more. I have expended from the [[ditto]]Bethany Seats[[/ditto]] appropriation ($150.00) at Charles Morris; for labor $35.00, Stove & fixtures $13.25, and have contracted for 6000 ft of Lumber @ $10.00 $60.00 making in all near $110.00. The work is progressing slowly, although the leading men make fair promises. In short they are not fulfilling their contract, as made with me. When the $150 was promised it was upon the condition that they were to complete the building at once, and this they have failed to do without an adequate reason I think
