of my letters; and know not what reparation to make. I simply ask your kind indulgence, and sympathy in the interest, and welfare of my school, where ever I may teach, in this state. 
The history of the past, will impart a useful lesson. 

The school has a good reputation in this, and all the neighboring counties; and I could wish it were founded upon a more permanent footing, for the future, in the form of self support. The parents do not all pay up promptly. I had $3,000 worth of books to sell for Mr Goodyear, and have sold nearly all of them. Have in hand still (besides what I have sent him) books, and money to the amount of $16.00. He said he would make out a bill and present to Miss Collins; and that he was pleased with our work.
