My dear Mr Manly,

As the Bureau allowance has been paid us on account of the Virginia Schools, I have the pleasure of enclosing to you a check for Mrs Manly to May 1st which brings up the allowance due her to the same date as the teachers. As she has not received any money since January we owe her $30. Our office you know has been abandoned, please address me at home, 97 West 11th St.

Respectfully
Ellen Collins
