pr month, I think that I understood you to say that the people here boarded the other teacher, and would board me. If so you were mistaken. They had nothing what ever to do with him beyond paying the seventy-five cts, for each Scholar. You will please tell me just how I shall arrange about the Board. It is very cheap, but at the same time my pay will be so slim that I could not even pay that.

I understood you to say, that I should demand forty cts pr. Scholar, and what they lacked of making $15, you would give yourself. Now the board is the only draw back. I find Mrs. Gorden to be a very Kind Lady.
