General Recruiting Rendezvous
U S Army 520 S Front St.
Philadelphia June 5th 1869

Dear Chaplain

I reported at New York last Monday and was ordered to open a rendezvous here which I have done.  I have a very pleasant office although the location is near the docks I have gone to housekeeping at Germantown about six miles from the city where both Mrs White and myself would be pleased to see you whenever you pass through Phila.  Please remember me to Spencer & thank him for forwarding my letters.  With a very pleasant recollections of our associations together while connected with the Bureau
