Dear Sir,
Your letter concerning Charlottesville was read in committee and has greatly disappointed us.  We had hoped and expected that with $600 assured by the Bureau and $600 more, in our opinion, forthcoming, you would feel justified in taking action we asures at once toward converting the great amount of lumber in the present leaky, smoky and unsafe barracks into a convenient school building -
We cannot, after passing thru day 2 on the offer, think the influence of such a crazy old building fund upon teachers, pupils, on the people -
