We hope to work in the direction of preparing good teachers even after a public school system relieves us of the rest of our present work through Virginia - and  for various reasons Charlottesville seems a specially good location for such a Normal School -
The estimates you send appear large when we consider the amount of lumber in hand.  We have of course the practical knowledge, but compared with the the cost of many houses built with Bureau appropriations it seems in admit of reduction -
