J. Wesley Cromwell after a visit of investigation to Clover finds the colored people without a school, anxious to have one, willing to assist in its support, attendance of 150 to 200 promised.
They have partially erected a school house but are now forbidden by the owner of the lot on which it stands to continue the work. Another lot is however offered- the cost of removal & finishing is estimated at $200.
