Mr. R Armistead
our temperance society was only one month old on the 26th of June. There was none in this Neighborhood Before And I tryed to persuade the people to get in society and I read apart of a temperance paper to them all one sabbath morning And I am happy to say that nearly all that mere present joined me and have been on the increase ever since. The no of scholars are less this month they are marking their Fields and brinding wheat as I am teach in the country
