Dear Sir

I must state to you the condision of our school they are intirely destitute of money which renders them unable to buy books if  possible send them to me I am not able to buy books for them I have been up there some time and I find they are scarcely able to give me bord; and I am nearly without cloths.  They are all poor people; so you see how we are situated I am doing my best to instruct them the best I know how;  my education is limited but you will find when you come that I have done what I thought was best so if you can any way let me have the books;  and you will greatly oblige
