R. M. Manly

Rev. Sir.
I commenced teaching on Thursday the 15th inst. and now have 26 pupils and more intend coming in a few days. I teach them for nothing is the reason
I can get such a large school and I will continue to take them until I have 30 scholars if you think you can get more than ten dollars for me, if not may teach no more than you require me to teach for $10 per month. If convenient I would like an early answer.
Address as usual.
Most respectfully,
M H Daniel
