by every agent that has been here. The school house erected at this place is a perfect botch of an affair. If you could assist us here some before the Bureau expires it would be a great help to our people of color who are mostly poor. The agents of the Bureau had a house put up for which they paid $500 when it should not have cost more than $350 -the house can easily be made larger the contractor has become ashamed & is willing I understand now to build it one half larger for $200.
