R. M. Manly Esq

Dear Sir
I informed you some time ago, that the most of the cost of the school at any place fell on one I did not know at the time the cause, but since found that it was because Mr. Jennings did not attend to his duties as teacher and therefore the people would not support the school, But if you will dismiss Jennings, and appoint Ms. Madison Lowry, who is now acting as teacher the people say and I believe they will support the school. Please let me hear from you in regard to the matter at once, Mr Jennings left
