Dear Friend;
Your kind letter found me on the wing - Having gone the round, it has just overtaken me as I am about taking my departure from Dement.
I am happy to hear that yourself & family keep well even though you are having "solid summer."
My health is quite good. I wrote to Dr. Rush nearly four weeks ago & sent him report & accounts but have not received a line in reply. Has he sent you my board bill or rather money for June?
I thank you for you kind offer & will return to Richmond for another year.
