A messenger from Fairfield brings word the little dwelling will be ready for Miss Haslam, on the school house lot this week.
A friendly northerner Capt. Larch, has given the lumber from his saw-mill at Fairfield, to build the Teacher's little house.
The school will be entirely saw without a book or a slate to begin with, and I earnestly required the money of Miss Haslams passage here. Her fare
