Wm. B. Downey, Esq -

My dear Sir:
I am requested this morning to drop you a line, before the closing of the Mail, in behalf of Two Rivers and others interested in the School house concerning which you made inquiry some time ago, to inquire whether so far as your information extends you can give any assurances of the Bureau's ability toward rent, and when the expected aid can be furnished. having great faith in your ability to prevail with the Agents of said Bureau, I am instructed to request that you will do your best for them, and if it is coming hurrying up as fast as practicable.
Very respectfully
