The testimony of two witnesses, excellent, truthful men was positive that the member of the Board, Richardson did make an address artfully disguised to cheat them of the vote "For the Clauses", and also warned them they would lose their homes if they voted the little ticket. I could have offered a multitude of witnesses to the same, if I had supposed it necessary. 

By the advice of Lt. Yeckley who took the testimony I was not present when the negative testimony was given and when I saw it next morning, I was astonished at the tricks of evidence.
