citizens Mr J E Nottingham made a present to the freedmen. Our school seems to be in very prosperous condition  new scholars are comming in daily  to day it numbers 30 pupils. I have not received tuition from more than twenty five yet though I hope to from all. We have a very nice sabbath s. formed a large number of pupils. Miss P. my sister aids me in the work. We shall both return back to school again next Autumn unless orders form Gen Armstrong  We wish to
