(Grove Mount, Richmond Co. Vir.)

Rev. R. M. Manly,
Richmond, Vir.

Dear Sir. _ I wrote you about the middle of last month, _ sent you a voucher in relation to my school; I have been to the post Office. in search (several times) of a letter from you. In answer to the aforementioned. But have been unsuccessful every time, so, I conclude that you either have not received the paper, in question Or it must be in some way, destroyed.
My School is now opened. It has been opened ever since the 12th ult. I procured a first class Teacher from a neighboring County. As I have sent this letter in search of the paper, in question I hope that, if it reaches you, you will favor me With an early reply. In haste,
I remain, Yours Truly
