Mr. Manly

Dear Sir,

Will you have the kindness to give us all the information you can about Mr. & Mrs. Burbank who formerly taught for the New York Society. They are recommended to us by Mrs. Lowell, & it is possible we may want them to go on a plantation on Ladies' I. S.C. where a gentleman would like to have a man & his wife. We are not sure of wanting them, but would like to have your opinion of them, & will you be so kind as to send us their address if you know it?

Very truly yours,
E. D. Cheney
